Lead the Shift: L&D Priorities in a Disrupted Market

AI has moved from buzzword to baseline and Learning & Development must keep up. The mandate is clear: reinvent corporate training into a modern operating and delivery model that builds and deploys capability at speed.

With rapid technological change, core skills are becoming outdated, new ones are emerging and hence “learning” can no longer mean compliance training; it must create strategic value.

The gap is real and urgent. Despite sustained investment, only 11% of L&D teams believe employees have the skills required for future roles, while 85% of people expect employers to train or reskill them. L&D must harness technology to strengthen the organization’s competitiveness.

For CIOs, Technology Leaders and L&D Heads, this session delivered practical ways to link capability building to business outcomes.

This Power Hour was hosted by Avinash Lele, President at Harbinger Group. The industry leaders Mike Dixon, President and COO at Hoops and Sarthak Brahma, Founder and CEO of HEX Advisory Group, were on the panel.
