Dr. Vikas Joshi is a tech entrepreneur, idea builder, and learning catalyst with a deep interest in how organizations and people create value and evolve.

He is the founder of Harbinger Group, a technology company specializing in AI and digital solutions for talent, learning, and performance enablement. He serves as Executive Chairman and CEO at Harbinger Group, where his attention centers on board governance, strategy oversight, and corporate development. He brings perspective on long-term direction and major inflection points, while advising and mentoring the President who holds P&L responsibility for Harbinger Group.

Vikas is also the convener of Joyful Reinvention, his public work. It is a mission-led body of ideas, tools, and community for helping people and organizations become better at navigating change.

His work draws on decades of experience in technology, product development, entrepreneurship, talent, and learning. Vikas also holds two US patents for his inventions in education technology. He also engages closely in how AI is reshaping work and accelerating the need for human and organizational renewal.

He earned a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. Earlier, he trained as engineer at IIT Bombay and Syracuse University. His doctoral research in entrepreneurship addresses the co-evolution of technology firms and founders. American Educational Research Association has awarded the top spot for this scholarly work on how entrepreneurs learn and develop.

Vikas speaks at global conferences, hosts online roundtables, and contributes to leading industry publications on technology and business management. He mentors entrepreneurs and researchers.

In his leisure time, Vikas prefers catching up on books, movies, poetry, and music. He divides his time between the U.S. and India.
